The U.S. coronavirus death toll has topped 90,800, according to NBC News’ count. On Monday, China pledged an extra $2 billion to deal with the coronavirus crisis at the World Health Assembly, which was held virtually. U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar said that the World Health Organization’s “failure cost many lives and it must not happen again.”
